At Nozbe, we strive to make task management flexible and tailored to different work styles. That’s why we’re introducing a new feature: automatic prioritization of selected tasks from the Incoming view.
Ever missed an important task even though it was in Incoming?
For some, a priority is any task assigned by their boss. For others, only what’s due today or already overdue matters. And then there are those who want full control over what shows up in their priority list.
That’s why instead of imposing one solution, we give you a choice. From now on, you decide which tasks from Incoming automatically become priorities.
How does it work?
In the Priority view, click the three-dot icon (...)
, then choose Automatic Prioritization.
You’ll see a list of task types that can automatically get a star:
- assigned to you,
- due today,
- overdue,
- where someone mentioned you,
- with a reminder set for today.
Mark the ones that matter to you and… done! From now on, these tasks will not only appear in the Incoming but will also immediately show up in the Priority view.
A bit of history
In Nozbe Classic – our previous app – all tasks assigned to you, due today, or overdue automatically landed in the Priority view. There was no Incoming view back then.
Over time, by listening to our users, we realized that not everyone wants external factors to determine what’s priority to them. That’s why in the new Nozbe, we clearly separated the two views:
- Incoming – all tasks that require your attention,
- Priority – only the ones you choose as most important.
You’re in control.
But we also know that… everyone works differently. And that’s exactly why automatic prioritization is back – in a new, customizable form.
Why is it worth checking out?
- Save time – no need to manually mark recurring task types as important
- Avoid oversights – tasks that truly matter to you are always within reach
- Work your way – we just provide the tools
Try it today!
Head to the Priority view and adjust the automatic prioritization rules to match your work style. Let Nozbe support your workflow even better.
Because effectiveness isn’t about rigid rules. It’s about a flexible approach to work.
